As you can see in these pics...it looks crazy different on me depending on the light. it's a dusty peacock blue but the lower the light the more teal it starts to look. i freaking adore it...i was hesitant on this color for the longest time because i thought it would be to similar to a just groovy sort of color but it's not!
i think it's pretty wearable since it's got the dusty quality to it.
smooth formula...easy application...great wear.

Shimmery goodness in a bottle.
These must be new pigments because every brand is releasing this finish all of a sudden. I don't love that all the fall releases seem to be various colors in this finish but I love this one.

I used 2 coats but I think 3 would have been better...Luckily with a distracting shimmer it's easy to hide the bald spots :)

I'm so sorry for the lapse in posts...I've been taking a stroll down memory lane with polishes. It's so easy to get caught up in buying new colors and then just wearing those, you forget the ones you love the most...so there they are.

mint greens...i don't own many...in fact ...this is it!

essie mint candy apple, nails inc haymarket (twin to satin), mac peppermint patti, and opi damone roberts
the mac was the most annoying to apply...by far. it also happens to be my least favorite color of the bunch. my favorite was the opi. and excuse the bloopy nails inc...i didn't wait long enough between coats.

When I first purchased it I tried it out by itself and it was a grey holo and I didn't love it. I gave it another chance over black and I loved it!
the black is Carolyn New York Black Out in the Bronx...and it was opaque and smooth in 1 coat and it's long d/c....but that's another story.

it really is a very nice shade... not too brown...not too lilac...just right.

the taupes i've kept... i had some that did not work on my fair skin so they are gone...but these are my favorites.

Instyle Magazine had a promo recently. I was not one of the fortunate ones to win.
However, a polish fiend of mine loaned me hers to compare to some other reds so I could quiet the yearning.

Gorgeous Cherry Red... bright and happy.
however, don't give in to ebay and the nasty gougers there!
buy red hot ayers rock instead. on the nail i couldn't even tell them apart...in any light.

the fun thing i found when i was looking for a match was that another long d/c OPI Cherry Blossom was a twin as well! it has some very subtle/only shows up in pictures shimmer...but the color is the same!
hooray for that find :)
