IsaDora Ashes to Ashes
Sent to me by a fantastic fellow nail polish lover. I don't think these will ever hit the US which bites because the formula is smooth, opaque in 2 coats, and wore for 3 days (the pic is from late Day2)
I have a few more from the collection that I will try to post later.

essie geranium

i picked this color up over the summer. it was beautiful when it was 100degrees out and it's gorgeous at 50degrees.

it was voted the best coral of 2009 by instyle (whatever, right?!) but it's much more of a tomato red then a coral on my pale skin. the quote was that it gave the illusion of a tan...yeah not so much on me.
it's thin but not quite a jelly finish to me...the way that only essie seems to have mastered... thin but vibrant. it would need 3 coats to be completely opaque...at 2 i still have some VNL.

Zoya Nova
one of the new ultra glitter collection from Zoya.
it took 3 coats to be opaque but i love jelly with suspended glitter so i'm good!
gorgeous glittery goodness for a crisp fall day.

lippmann superstar
gorgeous dark brown jelly with copper glitter...it shines like a new penny in bright light
and straight sexy in low light
it's like the sun glimmering off the fall leaves...only on your nails. it makes me want hot cider and fresh pumpkin bread....fall wrapped up in a polish.

Clarins #230... unicorn pee?
i don't think so, just a gorgeous jelly with incredible shimmer.
you can layer it over another equally gorgeous color and it won't compromise either one.
it can show you green.
copper sparkles
blue shimmer of scrangie still shines through

these are over opi yoga-ta get this blue
the dark blue forces you to admire the shimmers
from green to gold to amber...all in one shot

amazing
the sparkles seem lit from beneath.

Clarins #230 is awesome. however, it won't save your life or cure cancer.
apparently it will break the bank and cause madness that has no end. don't let her draw you into the madness...if it's meant to be it will come to you.
put out some good karma and sit back and wait.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Scrangie

I totally succumbed to the pics of this color. Rescue Beauty Lounge Scrangie is gorgeous. There was some drama, I'm not sure how it started, that the application was bad on this one. I can honestly say that mine applied like a true RBL. Smooth and even in 2 coats. Absolute dream.

I couldn't leave it alone though...and I added a thin coat of the VHTF Clarins #230 over it. You can see the blue shimmer of Scrangie peeking through and that combo is swoon worthy.

RBL no more war

nars mash

mac dry martini
I adore this murky sludge of a color. It's actually very chic. I have had a few good compliments today. I rarely get compliments so I really take it to mean the color has that wow factor. My apologies for the massive shrinkage on my ring and pinky. Such a shame for a beautiful mani to bear that burden.
For reference i put up pictures of NARS mash and RBL No More War. Totally different but it might help you to get perspective.
The one thing I would change is it's name. It's much more of a dirty martini color wouldn't you say?!

Rescue Beauty Lounge Mismas
Man this is a beauty! Opaque in one smooth coat. I did 2 but I could have left it and been fine. This is a really nice color. While it's similar to other colors, I don't have a twin. It's a cool purple creme which is not common for some reason. It's almost teasing me with a blurple side but it most assuredly purple and not blue.

Illamasqua Verbal
So I finally swatched my entire UK Illamasqua haul. Verbal was the last one that needed to see the light of day...and I'll be honest, I put it off as long as possible. I bought it sight unseen from the Illamasqua website before Sephora started carrying the line. I was gambling it would be a dusty grey but I was wrong. It was not pretty in the bottle.
Turns out it isn't pretty IRL either.
I'm sure someone, somewhere can wear it beautifully. On me it looks like a bad concealer job. It reminds me of when I was in my late teens and I decided I would look better if i covered up my freckles. I bought the shade that matched them and applied an even coat of makeup. Took one look in the mirror and tossed the bottle and scrubbed my face. eeewww...never a good look going 4 shades darker then your skin.
