nails inc victoria & albert

Merry Christmas to you all....My mani is a safe classic red. As I applied it though...I wondered why I had any other red...this is perfection in a bottle.

May you all have a safe and happy holiday with friends and family...whatever you celebrate <3

rescue beauty lounge drifter

the closest thing i have in my collection is nails inc saville row. it's cooler and less red than drifter. i prefer it formula wise as well.

drifter is not my favorite rbl. it's runnier and harder to get even then most of the other rbl cremes i've worked with. it almost wants to be a jelly but it's too opaque so it's just...a pain.

countdown to sale time...Good Luck all!!

nails inc vine street

this was from a free GWP last month on the nails inc. website. it's perfect for this time of year...dark chocolate with a touch of red. i love it.
this was my first nails inc that i felt was too thick. i intend to thin it before i use it again. it was like painting with glue it was so awful.

lippmann ruby red slippers. the clear winner out of the celebrate set. it's gorgeous on it's own but it needs 3 coats to build up to opaque and with that it becomes harder to get smooth.
i layered it over illamasqua boosh this time and it's wearing like iron.
it was available by itself at lippmann.com but it's showing OOS...hopefully it will show up again.

essie geranium

i picked this color up over the summer. it was beautiful when it was 100degrees out and it's gorgeous at 50degrees.

it was voted the best coral of 2009 by instyle (whatever, right?!) but it's much more of a tomato red then a coral on my pale skin. the quote was that it gave the illusion of a tan...yeah not so much on me.
it's thin but not quite a jelly finish to me...the way that only essie seems to have mastered... thin but vibrant. it would need 3 coats to be completely opaque...at 2 i still have some VNL.
