IsaDora Ashes to Ashes
Sent to me by a fantastic fellow nail polish lover. I don't think these will ever hit the US which bites because the formula is smooth, opaque in 2 coats, and wore for 3 days (the pic is from late Day2)
I have a few more from the collection that I will try to post later.

lippmann bad romance

zoya nova

i'm all blinged out today. astra as a pedi but i'll spare you feet pics.
i tried out BR over black for a mani. i like BR...but i think i should have used 2 coats to get more sparkle because the glitter isn't quite the glittery, shiny, crushed glass sparkle like Red Ruby Slippers. i had to really work to get the glitter off the brush too. i wish Deb had spent more time on the formula...it's like she stopped mid-way and then just released it w/o trying it out first.

i adore essie body language...i really do. even if it's a pain to get streak-free. i kick myself for not buying a back-up when i saw it in the ULTA clearance section. i do wish i could find an awesome application twin though.
streaky in 2 coats...needs 3 or a thick opaque ridge-filler as a base. wears really well.

opi suzi says feng shui

As you can see in these pics...it looks crazy different on me depending on the light. it's a dusty peacock blue but the lower the light the more teal it starts to look. i freaking adore it...i was hesitant on this color for the longest time because i thought it would be to similar to a just groovy sort of color but it's not!
i think it's pretty wearable since it's got the dusty quality to it.
smooth formula...easy application...great wear.

maybelline hip huggers

this is an old one. i found the entire denim collection recently at the Dollar Tree. it included hotties like zip fly and jean jacket.
application was ok but the brush was too mop-like for me. however, it went on smooth and wore for 5 days. pretty impressive for an old drug store polish!

American Apparel Mouse.

I think Illamasqua and RBL had a bastard love child...this polish is amazing in application and it's smooooth. I had 0 issues...it flowed nicely and wore well.
it's very similar to a few of the taupes out there but i don't have a twin in my stash.

lippmann call me irresponsible

4 coats...but i actually feel like it was worth it...and i'd do it again!
i wore it once when i first got it but i stopped at 3 and was never happy with the color but i wanted to try it again. i think if i had used an opaque basecoat it would have been even better.
it looked really great on but i just could not get a great picture of it. so here is what i did get...hope it helps.

OPI Catch Me In Your Net.
Shimmery goodness in a bottle.
These must be new pigments because every brand is releasing this finish all of a sudden. I don't love that all the fall releases seem to be various colors in this finish but I love this one.

I used 2 coats but I think 3 would have been better...Luckily with a distracting shimmer it's easy to hide the bald spots :)

nails inc had an awesome promo with Diet Coke (OPI are you listening!?)
great application and wear as always.

Models Own Red Alert

I love the texture of this polish. It reminded me of RBL Chinoise, thin but opaque and smooth. Great coverage in 2 coats, nice application.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Bangin
Here are my new actual full mani pics with basecoat and topcoat.
Gorgeous bright coral red. I haven't found an exact twin yet. The one color that was similar but had more orange was SH All Fired Up.
I wore bangin for 5 days...and had 1 tiny chip. Amazing application. As always, opaque in 1 coat but perfect in 2.

Pre-Sale is up. I would buy all 3 again in a heartbeat. I don't know if that helps or hurts ;)

nails inc primrose hill road

it was described as a neon red. it's very pink...with a bit of orange...not so much...red IMO. it reminds me a lot of the neon Misa bikini with a martini but i haven't had a chance to do a comp.
very much a jelly, still some VNL at 3 coats, bright as heck, i got 3 days wear - no chips as well.

rescue beauty lounge diddy mow

diddy mow is a gorgeous soft green with just a hint of shimmer...i always prefer a straight creme but the shimmer in this doesn't bother me at all..it really adds to the depth and softness of this color. it's amazing!

rescue beauty lounge 360

360 is a beautiful slate blue. the subtle shimmer is only in full sun.

rescue beauty lounge bangin

LOVE!
Ji is amazing. she not only made a 'bright' coral-red that isn't neon or matte...it's opaque in 1 coat! i swatched it last of the 3 and didn't prep my nails as well as I should have so I apologize for the remains of 360. I know I'll get better/neater pics of Bangin soon when i wear it for a full mani....I can't wait. <3

As always with RBL...all 3 were smooooth application, opaque in 1 coat, easy to control, and dried glossy.
look what the mailman brought...swatches coming soooonnnn.....

nails inc baker street
bright coral. it reminded me of misa stop rewinding, just fast forward but it's more pink/red. same application wise..leaning towards being a jelly but since it's mostly opaque in 2 coats it's more of a creme with smooooth application and great vibrant color.

nails inc wilton crescent...i took this one in the bright sun to show how RED it is.

this is indoor lighting...it darkens but doesn't turn brown at all. i love it...classic and clean. one of the thicker cremes from nails inc but opaque in 1 coat...this is 2 to make sure it was even.

OPI Girls Just Want to Play

illama bOOsh

I'm so sorry for the lapse in posts...I've been taking a stroll down memory lane with polishes. It's so easy to get caught up in buying new colors and then just wearing those, you forget the ones you love the most...so there they are.

nails inc the mall

how freaking hot is that! shimmery blurple at it's best.

nails inc chambord french martini

i don't know the story on this one..i'm sure it must just be a freebie from chambord.

nails inc aspen

talk about lit from within! amazing shimmery red. reminds me a lot of opi red like roses.

nails inc dover st and brompton rd
nails inc has an annoying habit of using similar names.
dover st. market is a vampy creme and brompton place is a bright pink creme

dover st and brompton rd always reminded me of each other in the bottle. like a shimmery and creme version of each other but they are really different.
dover st is too warm for me and brompton rd is just right.

ibiza orange
i didn't have high hopes for this one...it looks orange in the bottle...*yawn*
but on the nail...WIN! it turns a great tangerine...perfect for spring and summer!

nails inc hollywood was part of the Hills Collection.

i was surprised at how much i like hollywood! it is a neon so it dries down matte...but that also means application was awesome and smooth...almost like a jelly that way. i love it!

nails inc portobello market

i'm not sure what happened on this one...but portobello is a no go for me. it's just the wrong shade...i think if i were darker or browner it would be awesome...but the pink in my skin just clashed with the orange.

nails inc spitalfields

gorgeous easy to apply yellow...crazy smooth...beautiful buttery creamy yellow.
stinks that it does not work on me. i'm too pink...again for this color....i couldn't take it off fast enough.
